I want this story to be told a million times over.

I want this child’s message of despair, of disappointment, and depiction of the collective failure to mitigate climate and ecological catastrophe to be front page news.

I don’t want to know who is buying Twitter.

I don’t want to know which rich celebrity slapped who.

I want to know that we’re not doing enough.

I want to know that scientists around the world are protesting about how close we are to climate tipping points.

I want to know that we’re just years away from passing the 1.5 degrees Celsius of global warming.

I want to know that ecosystems are collapsing and biodiversity is plummeting.

We have the understanding. We have the solutions I want to know what we are going to do about it.

If enough of us start telling this story, it will be front page news.
