The Pandemic
I gave myself the assignment of writing about the meaning of the pandemic this weekend, intending to go into meditation to get answers from my guides and the Universe.
What I “get” from them about this is that now is the time of the great divide between people choosing goodness and light, and those choosing lies and darkness.
There truly is a great division, but it’s more than political, it’s theological. It’s existential. It’s soul level.
It’s about using your free will to make the choice now to protect your loved ones and fellow human beings as well as our beautiful planet.
It’s about choosing life over death.
Remember, we all make mistakes. We all do the wrong things. What is important at all times is our intention.
I have personally known people who enjoy the suffering of other people. My biological father is one of those. I have observed many others in the media. Donald Trump is one of those. Charles Koch of Koch Industries and ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council—the secret organization funding and writing laws for Republicans) is one of those. Vladimir Putin is one of those. Kim Jong-un is one of those.
There are many others, including those hidden behind walls of their dwellings who inflict suffering and chaos and violence on their own families, both physically and mentally.
If you enjoy and choose the suffering of others, even the death of others, if you consistently choose lies, darkness and selfishness instead of goodness, light and truth, then you have not learned the lesson of the pandemic.
Be honest with yourself. You will have to. If your intention is not for good, your soul will waken you at 3:00 am daily to contemplate your mistakes. You know how you are doing in this life, even if you try to ignore it or find a cult of people and manage to surround yourself with a throng of others who are also walking the path of darkness and evil.
From the Bible, let the verse from Matthew remind you and send you a warning about your life choices:
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Do not seek to gather a multitude of cacophonous liars around you. Seek truth alone in silence, because that is the only place you will find it.
While none of us remains in their current body in this lifetime forever, yet you should still cherish life and treat each an every soul’s body as a temple, regardless of how it looks or how old or how able it is. Regardless of whether or not it looks like you look or how you think it should look.
Life is sacred.
Because while death on this planet is inevitable, our souls do live forever. And that’s why NOW – this life right now in this body – is important. Your choice is important. It is your test.
Why? Because your future heaven or your future hell is constructed from your very own free will right now in this moment. Please use it wisely.
This is the meaning of the pandemic.
